Announcement: Starting of online credit card payment and revision of partial services

Thank you for using ORIX Rent-A-Car.

Starting from November 1 2024, you can choose "Online credit card payment" for your online booking. In addition, we willl revise some of our services.

Some vehicle classes will be newly established and renamed.
Snow tires installation fee will be charged in the areas where snow tires are equipped as standard.

At ORIX, we strive to provide our customers with the best possible service and experience with our comfortable cars. Therefore, we would kindly ask for your understanding and continuous patronage.

Regarding the Consumption Tax applied to Rental Car Fees

Starting from November 1 2024, you can choose “Online credit card payment” for your online booking.

By paying online, you don’t need your credit card at the counter upon pickup and be able to shorten rental process.

Acceptable credit card brands:

※: Please note that some branches do not accept online payments.
※: Online payment is available for reservations made up to 6 months prior to pickup date and is not available for reservations made more than 6 months in advance.

Important notice for Online credit card payment

◆: Settlement for any additional or extended fee must be paid at the branch.
Any additional charges for rental extension in advance or options upon pickup, and fuel, rental extension, or expressway toll to be settled upon return must be paid at the branch.
◆: Non-changeable Reservation
Reservation with online payment cannot be changed.
In case of need to change your reservation, please be sure to cancel current reservation before rebooking. Please note that cancellation fee may be charged in accordance with our cancellation policy.
◆: Reservation holder, credit card holder, and renter must be the same person
When using online credit card payment, the person who reserved the car, the renter, and the credit card holder must all be the same. Or, if the renter and the driver are different, the renter and the driver must come to the branch together upon pickup and return.
◆: Starting Date
Online payment is available from the reservation made on November 1, 2024.
※Online payment is not available for reservations made on or before October 31, 2024.

Charges for snow tires in winter season

Due to the rising cost of procurement and storage management of snow tires for the winter season,

We have decided to set a snow tire installation fee in the areas where snow tires are standard equipment.
